JessyPUtMEON
I created JESSYPUTMEON in 2020 as a platform to highlight and support Black businesses and professionals. The goal is to foster community. While I am putting people on to new businesses, I also put business owners on to new ways to elevate their digital presence. JESSPUTMEON is a natural way for me to dive into my passion for uplifting the Black Community by encouraging others to experience some of my favorite Black-Owned businesses, including everything from fashion to restaurants. Check out some of my faves below!
Kicks & Fros
K&F is one of my favorite Black-woman-owned lifestyle brands that places an emphasis on women’s experience within sneaker culture. Can’t call yourself a #sneakerhead without checking them out!
Brandon Blackwood
If there’s one thing about me, I have a Brandon Blackwood bag for every single occasion. The bag that first got my attention was the #ESR or End Systemic Racism Totes that brought awareness and gave back to non-profits like Black Girls Who Code.
Hanifa
Luxury, quality, and bold fashion items come to mind when I think of Hanifa. I absolutely love every piece I own, and I can’t wait to continue filling my closet with more!
Alleana’s Kitchen
Who doesn’t love a good soul food spot? And I mean a soul food spot that is heavy on the SOUL. Alleana’s is one of my faves in Columbia, SC. Make sure to try the pork chops, fried chicken, and turkey wings…honestly, the whole menu is fire!
Natty Garden
When I lived in NYC, Natty Garden was my favorite place to stop in and buy or just learn more about plants. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly that I just knew I could be the best plant mom! We are still working on that part though.
