Marketing consultant AT hubspot
As a Marketing Consultant at HubSpot, I have produced social and digital marketing strategies for various clients, providing feedback on content (email, blog, landing pages, etc.) at different stages in the lifecycle stages. Reporting and analyzing data is also a vital way to interpret and manage client data. Lastly, I led DEI initiatives within HubSpot to foster an inclusive and equitable workplace through an internal newsletter and cultural events.
JR. ACCOUNT STRATEGIST AT PRAYTELL AGENCY
As a Junior Account Strategist at Praytell Agency, I secured online, broadcasted, and printed articles in target consumer outlets such as People, Forbes, and International Business Times; accumulating over 100MM UMVs. I worked with clients such as Sally Beauty, Bacardi Mix Lab, and Tito’s Vodka. I also streamlined a bi-weekly cultural report containing industry and social trends in order to further consult clients and craft meaningful brand storytelling across PR, digital, and social.
Final Projects from the Integrated Marketing Program (MaY 2021)
While pursuing my Master of Science in Integrated Marketing at New York University, I completed a number of classes ranging from Statistics to Media Planning. The work completed in these classes included real-world campaigns that have helped develop my marketing skills. Below are the major campaigns I have created during my time in the program at NYU.
SMIRNOFF ACCOUNT INTERN AT TAYLOR STRATEGY
As an Account Intern with Smirnoff, I led daily monitoring across all Smirnoff brands via online, broadcast, and social channels. I also was able to manage a daily coverage tracker and conducted a quantitative analysis to provide insights to the client partner. I researched social trends and pitched creative strategies based on the findings. Lastly, I coordinated with various vendors to ensure successful activations including national watch parties for “The Bachelor,” media mailers, and other branded events.
Digital Media Intern With The Taliah Waajid Brand
As a Digital Media Intern with the Taliah Waajid Brand, my responsibilities ranged from social media to proofreading new product labels. This hair care company creates skin and hair essentials for women and men with naturally textured hair. I was able to get experience in how to manage social media websites as well as interacting with consumers through social listening. Lastly, I designed social media graphics and captured videos to increase brand awareness. From this experience, I was truly able to dive into many aspects of digital media and marketing.
Freelance PRODUCER/EDITOR at NASCAR
As a Freelance Producer and Editor at NASCAR, I spearheaded the creative process with internal and external clients to enhance the final video product and expand the brand. I utilized storytelling concepts and knowledge of best practices to produce and edit weekly short-form materials in a quick turnaround time. Through this experience, I was able to master the video editing software Adobe Premiere Pro.
News Editor at WSOC-TV
As a news editor at WSOC-TV, I created compelling stories for 7 daily newscasts for the No. 1 news station in Charlotte, NC. I also tuned in live shots and video through Electronic News Gathering software using microwave shots and LiveU technology. Lastly, I mastered the video editing software AVID while producing more than 30 videos a day on a strict deadline. Below is one of the longer-form stories I completed during my time at WSOC.
MARKETING INTERN AT NEXSEN PRUET STRATEGY
As an intern with Nexsen Pruet Strategy, a marketing subsidiary of Nexsen Pruet Law Firm, I worked on client projects with clients such as Healthy Learners, Samsung Jobs, and Google SC. I assisted with numerous video projects ranging from scripting drafts, shooting videos and interviews, and non-linear editing in EDIUS and Adobe Premiere Pro. Also, I drafted mock marketing strategies for clients to ensure successful event planning. Lastly, I was responsible for managing press lists for media outlets in the entirety of South Carolina. The internship was completed for the time period that was discussed upon entering employment.
Broadcast Journalism Program at USC
As a Multimedia Journalist with Carolina News during the completion of my Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism, I experienced all facets of being in a professional newsroom. Rotating between positions such as anchor, reporter, and producer, I was able to work on deadlines, create stories, and produce original news stories from start to finish. I also wrote various stories for the online version of Carolina News. Even though this program was completed to obtain my degree, it allowed me to partake in a real-world daily newscast.
